The Program on the Environment is an innovative experiment in interdisciplinary environmental education combining natural science, the human dimension, and community-based problem-solving. PoE partners with units across the University to offer undergraduate and graduate workshops, courses, certificates, and degrees. Experiential learning in the field; active learning in the classroom; and an applied capstone internship in partnership with government, nonprofit, or industry, are Environmental Studies hallmarks.
