Boston United Track and Cross Country (BUnited) is a free track and field program committed to the physical and mental well-being of Boston youth. Welcoming all Greater Boston area youth ages 4-18 to the sport and the community through coaching and mentoring, BUnited provides athletes an outlet to express themselves and discover the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle through participation in track and field. BUnited is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, entirely run by volunteers who have benefited from the physical, mental and lifelong benefits of participating in sport. Track and field is unique – the breadth of skills needed across events provide an opportunity for any child to participate. BUnited is unique among Boston area track clubs because of coaching expertise in almost every event. Many BUnited coaches are USATF licensed and/or accomplished professional or collegiate athletes – some of the most talented produced by the Commonwealth. More than an athletic program, BUnited is committed to furthering the physical and mental health of our athletes by encouraging and motivating them to focus on education. BUnited coaches and volunteers mentor, provide counsel on post-secondary education opportunities and support college aspirations.
