We design and manufacture products for the agriculture, aviation, industrial and food science industries. Founded in 1993 — by company president Bill Hughes, P.E. — Innoquest has enjoyed steady growth powered by their Quest for Innovation. Mr. Hughes is a licensed professional engineer and has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois. He has designed over 75 products to date, 17 of which have won AE-50 awards from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for outstanding innovation. He currently has 9 patents with more pending. It began in 1991 when Mr. Hughes started his entrepreneurial venture by designing, manufacturing, and selling humidity sensors for greenhouse control systems. Innoquest was formally founded in 1993 to design and sell its electronic rain gauges. By 1996 Innoquest was focused on contract design and manufacturing by partnering with Spectrum Technologies, Inc. for Ag marketing. As a result, from 1996 to 2008 Innoquest developed and manufactured over 50 products used for weather monitoring and soil diagnostic work by farmers, growers, and agricultural researchers worldwide.
