Macquarie Geotechnical currently operates six regional offices in Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee, Narrabri,Parkes & Tamworth & three offices in Sydney located at Alexandria, Preston & Penrith. We currently employ over 100 expert Geotechnical staff comprising Geotechnical Engineers, Engineering Geologists, Chemists, Environmental Scientists, Coal Technicians, Concrete Technicians, Geotechnical Technicians & Geotechnical Drillers.. We offer a wide range of geotechnical testing services including testing of soils, aggregates, rock, concrete, shotcrete & coal and we also undertake a wide range of chemical testing on soils & water. Testing is undertaken in accordance with Australian Standards & NSW RMS Testing specifications as well as international standards where required. Our drilling fleet comprises both tracked & truck mounted geotechnical drilling rigs that are capable of HQ drilling to depths of 120m. Macquarie Geotechnical is accredited with the NSW RMS to work on construction projects over $10M and is also on numerous professional services panels with the RMS. We are one of the only independent laboratory in NSW that is able to undertake all testing for RMS 3051, 3071, R44, R57 & R71 in-house and we are also able to undertake all ballast testing in accordance with JHG, ARTC & Railcorp in-house.
