DE LICHTFABRIEK / THE LIGHT FACTORY; A PLACE OF ENERGY & INSPIRATION De Lichtfabriek / The Light Factory consists of several buildings and has an interesting history. The largest spaces are: De Turbinehal, Het Oliehuis and Het Ketelhuis. In addition there are: De Accukamer, De Machinekamer and De Ampère Studio. All these buildings together form De Lichtfabriek / The Light Factory. De Lichtfabriek / The Light Factory was the electrical power plant and gas light plant of Haarlem during the beginning of the 20th century. Now, more than a century later, we give a new twist to this concept. De Lichtfabriek / The Light Factory today is an industrial event location; a place of fresh energy where people come together to inspire others or to be inspired. Where ideas arise, where collaborations begin and where people toast.
