A particular concern is that DIP believes many companies will now attempt to implement Industry 4.0 digital technologies in order to offer competitive prices. This means that companies will revert to the same problem of low product unit costs and higher wages only for skilled workers, many of whom will in fact require Industry 5.0 skills. That leaves the problems of low wages, poor worker conditions, lack of management systems and other Industry 3.0 practices unaddressed. DIP programs will address issues related to how to map the scope and applicability of the concepts of management, support concept and industrial engineering in manufacturing in order to achieve and reduce cost, improve quality, enhance delivery reliability and improve all round financial performance. Briefly, the learners will learn how to assess problems analytically and articulating solutions to decision makers. Therefore, DIP ’ raison d’etre is to address the gaps and barriers that are holding back the manufacturing industry from successful improvements through innovative solutions. The industry have witnessed shortage in talented creative professional; the numbers of educational institutes has risen. Unfortunately many of the offered courses are outdated view of learning which has not helped the industry to progress.
