Home birth - Genesis Family Midwifery is a midwifery based home birth practice. Water birth at home - We encourage you to use water for your labor and/ or birth as you feel comfortable. Prenatal care - Each client is seen through out her pregnancy at our beautiful office in Warrenville. Postpartum care - You will be cared for in your home for up to 3 days after your birth and then in the office for a follow up visit. Newborn care - Your baby will be examined thoroughly after the birth and for up to 3 days after the birth. Breastfeeding help - Our team will be sure that your breastfeeding relationship with your baby gets off to a good start after the birth, and we will be available to help you indefinitely after that as needed. Preconception counsel - Feel free to come to our office in Warrenville to discuss issues related to getting pregnant. Family planning (non-hormonal) - We offer counsel in non-hormonal family planning methods including natural family planning and barrier methods. Well-woman care - Women can be seen for annual exams including pap smears, and other routine screening exams. Visit will include counsel in health promoting activities.
