Guardian Whiskers Inc is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization devoted to promoting the positive impact that cats have on human health and the power of the human-animal bond. A growing amount of scientific research shows what a dramatic effect this makes in everything from decreased blood pressure and reduced anxiety to enhanced feelings of well-being. Animals help support heart health; prevent depression; and address the symptoms of PTSD, autism and more. Together with Cat Care Clinic, Guardian Whiskers focuses on the human-animal bond particularly with cats and their benefit in the lives of children with learning disabilities and mental health problems.
