The Rutgers University Microbiome Program (RUMP) is a newly established, university-wide initiative that will focus on Microbiome Science Research, Education, Clinical Care, Technology transfer, and Community Outreach. The program aims to achieve excellence and become a national and international leader in an emerging science frontier, enhancing the education of Rutgers students, fueling economic development in New Jersey, and contributing to the health of New Jersey residents and global health standards.
