The Chris Dudley Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower and inspire all people with diabetes to live active and dream BIG! CDF was founded in 1994 by Chris Dudley, the first person with Type 1 diabetes to compete in the NBA. Through high quality camp and educational programs, collaborative healthcare, and networks of support, the Chris Dudley Foundation strives to create communities in which all people with diabetes live healthier, more active, and fulfilling lives. Home to the only residential basketball camp specifically created for youth athletes with Type 1 diabetes.
