Caon Studio, based in the Surry Hills district of Sydney is a multidisciplinary creative practice established by designer David Caon in 2009. The studio, with its roots in Industrial Design, works across diverse fields. Projects have been completed in interior design, architecture, graphic design, branding and particularly in the aerospace sector, with numerous projects completed for premium Australian airline, Qantas Airways Limited. The studio works with collaborators depending on the specific needs of projects which allows us to operate in a diversified array of professional fields. At the heart of the our core values is a passion for creation manifested by ongoing research which takes place within the Studio, with a dedication to study of art, architecture, design and fashion. This is supported outside of the studio by our collective passion for travel and our curious nature. Caon Studio's mandate is to involve itself in as broad a range of projects as possible, so as to learn from different typologies and eventually be able apply those across different fields. Our other big commitment is to understanding our client’s market and competitors. Helping brands move forward via creative research and an ability to react quickly to constantly evolving market needs enables our clients to remain leaders in their fields. We place an importance on communication, versatility and flexibility in our client relations. As such, we understand that speed is an important requirement for our clientèle. Caon Studio has experience in receiving a brief from our clients and quickly translating that into a variety of initial design directions. By establishing a direction early and quickly, means we are able to proceed further down the path earlier in the process.
