The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) is the professional body for the UK plumbing and heating industry. It is also an educational charity. Membership is made up of plumbers, heating installers, specifiers, college lecturers, plumbing designers, engineers, consultants and students. There are around 170 Industrial Associates. The Institute can register suitably qualified members at Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and Chartered Engineer (CEng).
