The TomorrowTogether Foundation has been formed to take action and 𝐃𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃. As a not-for-profit foundation it has been created with the dignity of all South Africans in mind. The Foundation undertakes projects aligned with this purpose. Its first project is to create a Private Markets’ “Employment Ecosystem” to help develop the private markets’ investment industry and find work for those who are currently employed. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐞 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬’ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 – supported by 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐂𝐀) TomorrowTogether has sourced a talent pool of currently unemployed candidates. These candidates are matched to 9 skills categories considered necessary for a private markets’ investment business. The pool consists of a mix of individuals who have some level of work experience, and graduates who have had little to no experience. They are all degreed and will be undergoing a skills development and mentorship programme to help develop their private market investments specific skills (facilitated by the Foundation). The Foundation promotes the contracting and permanent placement of these candidates (at preferential rates) with private market participants.
