Tune Your Ride
www.tuneyourride.comTune Your Ride’s bicycle-powered concerts, events, mobile stages, and services are fun, green, and activating. Our sustainable approach to putting on shows is at home in environmentally-conscious, bicycle-friendly and cooperative communities. While energy and transportation are central issues in society that are often discussed in negative language, our services create ‘Aha!’ moments by showing (not telling) that green approaches are not only possible, but fun! With our unique pedal powered set-up, shows literally cannot happen without the audiences participation, whose direct involvement powerfully bridges the gap between the stage and audience, idea and action. Tune Your Ride was founded in 2014 by James Davis and James Hetmanek, building on the success and popularity of the Toronto Bicycle Music Festival: a mobile concert spanning 3 Toronto city parks in one day, with mobile music performances leading group bike rides between venues. TBMF has won a City of Toronto Livegreen award and celebrated it’s 10th anniversary in 2019. Tune Your Ride has also powered and managed bicycle powered stages at Arts & Craft’s Field Trip, Livegreen Toronto Festival, Open Streets Toronto, the Guelph Jazz Festival and in parks along the shore of Lake Ontario between Brockville and Toronto.
