At The Kopite, we aim to cut through the noise of thoughtless, regurgitated 'news' content put out by dozens of other sites. We only publish our own features, opinion and matchday content and we are proud to provide a different, unique voice among many other Liverpool FC sites. In the past we have brought exclusive information and interviews, while our popular podcast attracts hundreds of listeners per episode. Our dedicated social media volunteers have also contributed to huge growth on that front, with the Twitter page in particular averaging more than 1,000 new followers per month over the last six months. We aren't here to make profit — our aim is to help change the face of fan content and provide opportunities and tuition to young aspiring writers. We provide training and advice tailored to the individual needs of each of our contributors, using our experience as qualified journalists working in the industry to help others to make it on the career path they want to follow. Past and present contributors include students at Liverpool John Moores University, University of Sunderland and UCFB.
