The objective of Colwin Associates is, through a marketing alliance with Goal Group, to help pension funds, investment managers and other institutional investors increase the level of recoveries they are able to achieve from class actions and tax reclaims. Despite the availability of sophisticated technology, the vast majority of institutional investors are not receiving their full entitlement of recoveries from class actions or withholding tax refunds available through international double taxation agreements. The amount of cash not being collected, as demonstrated by a number of case studies, is significant.
