Palmer Petroleum, Inc., was founded in 1977 in Shreveport, LA by geologist John T. Palmer for the purpose of assembling wildcat drilling prospects along with acquisitions and development of properties in the upper gulf coast region of East Texas, North Louisiana, South Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama. The company has discovered numerous oil and gas fields over the decades and is a well-established operator in this region.
