The RPDE Program was created in 2005 as a collaborative arrangement between Defence, Industry and academia, to solve difficult and challenging problems, in an innovative and collegiate environment. All efforts are focussed on developing solutions quickly, to accelerate the delivery of Australian Defence Force capability. Participants in the RPDE Program work in a collaborative, non-competitive environment where commercial interests are set aside to find the best, workable solution for Defence.
