Kathryn Hastings Photography is a boutique photography company in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Katie Gierke, the owner/photographer minored in Photography at Barat College and then set her passion for photography aside until 2009. She decided to leave her sales career to jump back behind the lens, starting her company in 2010. Kathryn Hastings Photography specializes in Newborn, Children, Families, Corporate Events as well as Weddings. Katie believes that a photograph doesn’t just capture a moment, but incorporates a memory that will forever be engrained in the pixels of her images. Katie’s talent for capturing those moments are priceless. Katie has freelanced for Make it Better Magazine and The North Suburban YMCA. Katie enjoys donating her time to multiple non for profits all over the Chicagoland area. Giving back and helping others is one of the most important aspects of Kathryn Hastings Photography.
