The Grief Training Center of Wisconsin is: A top, local source of training, resource and community for professionals and volunteers who support the bereaved. Relevant and applicable training programs are delivered on-line or on-location by deeply experienced leaders and facilitators. (CEU's Available) WE WELCOME: PROFESSIONALS whose role positions them to console and support bereaved individuals and families. VOLUNTEERS whose compassionate desire calls them to accompany or guide the bereaved through their grief journey. THE BEREAVED who will benefit from a variety of support and wellness programs, or direction to trusted services. THE CENTERS' LEADERS and FACILITATORS: Operate with aptitude and compassion, educating our community about the natural and necessary role grief plays in our lives, our relationships, and our work. They equip people with the knowledge and skills to help others through grief in unique, healthy and purposeful manner. In doing so, they improve one’s own resilience, balance, confidence, and optimism. They lead with heart-centered desire, helping others know the journey through grief occurs through one’s mind, heart, body…and even one’s soul. We also recognize and cultivate the goodness in people who console and support the bereaved. We hope to expand that goodness into a world filled with persons who willingly honor the needs of grief and console the bereaved on their journey.
