Melbourne Football STARS is an organisation that provides Melbourne's elite youth footballers with an opportunity to travel to Europe to gain an insight into the world of professional football through the participation in games with top division football academies and through being exposed to the history, culture and atmosphere of top class football. George Campbell, the Head Coach and Director, has coached at various levels within Victorian Football ranging from the Victorian (FFV) U14 & U15 State Teams and in the Victorian Premier League with Essendon FC and Northcote City FC. He is currently the Head Coach of the Xavier College Firsts Soccer Team who participate in the prestigious APS competition. He holds a FIFA B License in Football Coaching. This coupled with a professional playing career in Scotland’s Premier League with Aberdeen FC and with numerous clubs in Australia’s National League including South Melbourne FC whilst also representing his country, Scotland at the UEFA European Youth Championship Qualifiers, has provided him with an understanding of what is required to coach and play Football at an elite level. This football pedigree, combined with a proven track record in business delivers a set of skill that equips George to coach and manage Football programs at all levels.
