We were formed in 1961 and still remain today a wholly owned British business with clients throughout the UK ranging from small job shops to some of the UK’s largest blue chip manufacturers. Despite growing significantly over the years and with the internet revolution we pride ourselves with maintaining strong and regular 'face to face' contact with our clients through our extensive Field Sales team. We are Midlands based and have an employed field sales team that covers all parts of the UK and Ireland. This very experienced team are backed up by internal and field based machine tool and cutting experts which are able to assist our customers with specialist and specific application support ensuring you have the optimal solution in terms of technology and process. Furthermore, we are also happy to visit our clients to review best practice and provide demonstrations of new product and technology. Whereas we are not the largest supplier of cutting solutions and accessories we have invested heavily in our order processing and stock control systems and have retained our ability to be agile and flexible with our clients, this combined with that personal connection and the best technical support, delivers the Maydown difference.
