We provide the scientific investigation of fires, electrical failures and explosions to the private individuals, energy, construction and manufacturing sector clients, adjusting companies, insurance companies and legal professions. The cases are investigated in anticipation of litigation and we have experience in both court proceedings and arbitrations. Mr Edwin Low is a Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE), UK. He has more than seventeen years of experience undertaking the scientific investigation of numerous fire incidents, explosions, electrical failures and personal injury incidents. Those investigations were primarily conducted at the request of insurance clients and their legal advisors. The fire incidents range from small domestic premises to vessels, warehouses, large industrial premises, data centres and power stations, in many countries including Brunei, China , Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, The Philippines, United Arab Emirates, USA and Vietnam. Edwin has investigated electrical failures of equipment in the medium voltage (MV), high voltage (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV), including power transmission cables, switchgear equipment, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units, diesel rotary uninterruptible power supply (DRUPS) units, large commercial motors, wind turbine generators, distribution transformers, power transformers and generator transformers.
