The Township of East Zorra-Tavistock, formed on January 1, 1975 with the amalgamation of the former Township of East Zorra and the Village of Tavistock, has a population of approximately 7,100 over an area of 242 sq. kilometers. The Township is located in the center north of Oxford County, in Southwestern Ontario. The municipal offices are located in Hickson, approximately 10 km north of the City of Woodstock.
