As a developer, we have been executing high-quality residential projects on the Polish market since 2011. We draw from more than 130-year-long history of the Skanska Group and more than 100 years of experience in construction of houses and housing estates in countries such as the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Czech Republic. In line with the philosophy of Skanska’s activity, we rely on sustainable construction. In particular, we put emphasis on designing facilities without architectural barriers for people with various degrees of mobility and at various ages. We ensure balance between buildings and green zones, as well as well thought-out design of common spaces for the residents. In Poland, we have built the Ostrobramska Park, Mickiewicza Housing Estate (stages 1, 2 and 3), Jaśminowy Mokotów (1 and 2), Holm House (1 and 2) and Park Skandynawia (1). We are currently executing subsequent stages of our investments in the most popular districts of Warsaw — Jaśminowy Mokotów (3), Holm House (3), Mickiewicza Housing Estate (4) and Park Skandynawia (2 and 3). The Mickiewicza Housing Estate is the first housing estate in Poland with the BREEAM certificate, while Jaśminowy Mokotów is the first fully wind-powered construction site in Warsaw. Holm House, on the other hand, is a pioneer housing project with the “Disability Access” certificate. All our investments are currently being built in line with BREEAM environmental certification. Environmental awareness, which is extremely important to our company and based on which we build sustainable housing estates, has brought us recognition in the eyes of experts from the construction and real estate markets. During our 10-year presence on the Polish housing market, we have won a number of industry awards and distinctions in competitions such as the Architectural Prize of the President of Warsaw; “Accessibility Leader”; PLGBC Green Building Awards, 4Buildings Awards, "Green Eagle” and “Creators of Space”.
