The Institute of Chemistry is one of the 40 institutes that compose the University of São Paulo. It is dedicated to research and education in Chemistry and Biochemistry, with 108 full-time faculty members performing research in many different areas, 489 graduate students enrolled in the Chemistry or Biochemistry Graduate Programs (both of them are CAPES grade 7 programs), and 741 undergraduate students enrolled in one of the B.Sc. in Chemistry programs.
