Writes a weekly opinion column in the South Florida Sun Sentinel and consults in communication strategy whickh includes building and consulting on email/blogging platforms for politicians and small businesses. Kurlander, an attorney, publishes his own blog called “Kurly’s Kommentary” at www.stevenkurlander.com and has prior experience as a freelance journalist and as a publisher of The Independent Weekly Review in upstate New York. He has also built three businesses of his own and served as business development manager at a start up technological company. Steven Kurlander was one of the top grassroots coordinators in the United States for the McCain/Palin campaign, coordinating three offices, managing events, and making over 350,000 voter contacts in Palm Beach County, Florida during the last Presidential election. Kurlander also has had the experience of running a number of campaigns, including his own for Sullivan County Legislature.
