The company founded in 1998 in Alexandria as naval architecture & marine design office MOMCO with the intention to provide qualified projects for the marine industry. As a response to the booming on the marine offshore oil and gas industry, the business expansion took the office to a higher level to present OMEC to the market as a design and consulting engineering company providing the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the marine offshore oil and gas industry. In 2019 the company expanded the consultancy scope to include maritime and port consultancy with a diverse experience of our local, regional, and international based consultant.
