The Authentic Event Driven Fund L.P. has a target return of 10% and a target volatility of 10% with a low correlation to equities. There are three key sources of return - M&A Arbitrage (M&A) - other non-M&A corporate catalyst-driven situations that affect value (Event Driven) - and a global macro event strategy (Macro Overlay) which is designed to mitigate downside portfolio risk and improve the risk/reward profile of volatility. It fills an important and growing need for diversification, a need that will grow further in a post-pandemic world. The Authentic Global Equity mandate is proactively managed with explainable investment strategies consistent with client objectives and that may include exposures in global stock, bond, currency, commodity, and derivatives markets.
