Lynskey Management Services
www.lynskeymanagment.comAt the end of 2011 the company I founded, Complete Pharmacy Care had achieved a revenue of $32 million and we had made the INC 5000 list of the fastest growing small companies in America for the 5th year in a row. From the outside, we looked wildly successful. The view from the inside was not so rosy. The company lost nearly 2 million dollars, our customers and employees were unhappy and our management style was nothing more than moving from one crisis to another. We were stuck, on the verge of bankruptcy and had no idea what to do. A Vistage colleague suggested the EOS system. EOS, or the Entrepreneurial Operating System is a set of simple real world practical tools and timeless concepts designed for entrepreneurial companies that have between 20 and 250 employees. Leaders who are good candidates for the EOS system are growth oriented, willing to be honest and open minded with themselves and their teams and not willing to accept the status quo. When working with a team, EOS will make them better at what we call Vision, Traction, Healthy. • Vision means getting the organization 100% on the same page of where the company is going and how it plans to get there. • Traction means instilling discipline and accountability throughout the organization so that everyone in the company is executing the vision and the plan with consistency. • Healthy means having employees and leaders who are empowered, productive and happy to be part of the organization. This system provides step by step guidance to help organizations make sure they have the right employees, simple transparent methods to measure productivity and performance, tools to help teams effectively identify and solve issues once and for all and to end the cycle of death by meeting. I am a pharmacist with no business training and I successfully implemented this program. If I can do it, anyone can. If you would like more information about EOS you can go to www.eosworldwide.com.
