Colibri Productions, also knows as Colibri Cultural, is a dynamic, international production company based in London with strong ties with Europe and Latin America. The company produces films and cultural events, especially in cinema, literature, arts, and education. Its projects are multi-cultural in essence, as the company embraces the belief that culture is made richer by dialogue and partnership with other countries to promote greater visibility and engagement. The company has a wide-ranging production portfolio including the recent exhibition "The Art of Diplomacy", produced by Adriana Rouanet and curated by Hayle Gadelha, Embassy of Brazil in London, and Adrian Locke, Senior Curator of the Royal Academy of Arts; six editions of International Film Festivals in partnership with the Barbican Centre and Curzon Cinemas, in the UK; two films in pre-development phase: 'Havaianas in Ghana' and 'Tempest in a Tea Cup; and two films in co-production with other production companies in the UK, Austria, and Brazil: "Tarsila" (a feature film about the modernist artist Tarsila do Amaral and "Blackout" a feature film adapted from the best-selling novel of Brazilian author Marcelo Rubens Paiva, a co-production between the UK and Brazil.
