The Blood Unit is a Specialist Haematology Group Practice at Cabrini Medical Centre. Our Haematologists Dr Kirsten Herbert, A/Prof Melita Kenealy, Dr Michael Dickinson and A/Prof Max Wolf, The Blood Unit runs a comprehensive, evidence based service to patients with a wide variety of blood conditions. The practice is serviced by a Haematology specialist nurse, an accredited haematology registrar and our administrative team. Since 2005 The Blood Unit doctors have collaborated and worked together at various hospitals in Melbourne. Our Haematologists sit on many of the same committees and advisory boards within the Haematology community and have always enjoyed a vibrant and constructive working relationship.
