The organisation started as an outpatient facility in June 2002 at the Wellspring Clinic of the Piramal Group Parel establishments. Later, it was shifted to S.L. Raheja Hospital at Mahim Mumbai on the Dasshera of 2002 with an inpatient facility, & was again moved to Sion in 2012. Right now, Asian Cancer Institute is present at the ACI-Cumballa Hill Hospital Kemps Corner Mumbai since 2020. A full-service associate center at Asian Cancer Institute at Apex Multispeciality Hospitals, Borivali East Mumbai, came up in early 2021 after having functioned as a daycare center at Borivali East Mumbai since 2015. Its presence has been known in eastern India earlier as a collaborative establishment from 2016-2019 at Odisha as -the “AMRI Hospital;- Asian Cancer Institute”, catering to needy patients across all strata of society.
