• Our mission is to enable sustainable aquaculture based livelihoods for low-income households in India • We are miniaturizing aquaculture, and taking it to the backyards of these households; we design and build small-scale precision aquaculture production systems with sub-systems for sensors based water quality monitoring and decision support systems • These sensors act as an early warning system if any water quality parameter is going beyond a predefined range, and also the data collected through sensors is forwarded to our machine learning algorithm, to generate data-driven actionable insights for further action • Since August 2020, we are incubated at Start-up Incubation and Innovation Centre at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (SIIC-IITK), and also at Atal Incubation Centre- Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Mumbai (AIC-RMP); also our founder is incubated as an Agribusiness Entrepreneur with Agribusiness Incubation Unit at Central Institute of Fisheries Education Mumbai (ABI-CIFE) since 2019 • We are a private limited company incorporated in August 2020; We are a DPIIT, Government of India recognized Startup since January 2021 • Our endeavour is to promote SAJAL- Sustainable Aquaculture Jobs And Livelihoods
