We are an online platform that serves the community by connecting those who are needy, with the great and growing number of volunteers that make up the backbone of society! Founded in Australia in 2018, Deeder was conceived from a vision of a community network based around suburb areas, where the skills, wisdom, support and practical help of those nearby can be drawn on by those in urgent need, and where volunteer’s good deeds and community spirit is recognised appropriately. Deeder is non-partisan, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion or any other basis. Our Deeders earn points by completing advertised tasks posted by others - generally neighbours - such as home repairs, painting, pet sitting, putting up a picture or mowing a lawn. They also earn points by posting their own needs to be completed, and by the successful referral of friends, relatives & neighbours to the Deeder platform. The highest scoring users in each region will be able to be recognised and rewarded by their local community organizations, and the highest-scoring Deeder globally will be recognized with a substantial cash reward annually. Remember, you can be generous with your time, knowledge, advice and experience; and when you do someone a favour, firstly it feels great, and secondly, it always comes back!
