Good Foundations Academy is a K-6 public charter school offering a unique educational program with an emphasis on academic excellence and character education. GFA opened its doors to approximately 300 students for its inaugural school year in August 2010 and has grown to 500 students for 2014-15. GFA is committed to full implementation of the Core Knowledge Sequence, and is currently seeking Official School status. The academic program includes Singapore Math, Riggs Phonics, and Character First! GFA offers a popular and FREE after-school program that includes physical activities, music and drama, art, and library clubs.
