Oxford Forum for Questioning Extremism
www.ofqe.co.ukThe Oxford Forum for Questioning 'Extremism' aims to provide a constructive forum to discuss situations of ideologically driven conflict around the world through the lens of ‘extremism’. We explore topical issues such as electoral manipulation, rioting, hate speech, home security and foreign affairs through panel discussions, debates and interviews from expert speakers across the political spectrum and from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. We perceive increasingly more polarised political discourse across society and in our institutions. As a non-partisan organisation we aim to encourage understanding and co-operation, but also healthy disagreement in perspectives. We believe that respectful engagement across the political spectrum is needed if we are to suggest effective strategies for conflict resolution.
