Mississippi Christian Living Magazine
www.mschristianliving.comOur mission is to point people to Christ and make their lives better. We encourage believers in Mississippi by sharing people’s faith stories and providing practical information and insights - through our monthly magazine, e-digest, social media, and yearly events like our scholarship program and women's retreat. Here’s more of our story: In 2001, Mississippi native Marilyn Tinnin attended a Christian writer’s conference in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and picked up a magazine called Birmingham Christian Family. In 2002, she started Jackson Christian Family under a trademark agreement. She ventured into her own independent business three years later, and the magazine that would become Mississippi Christian Living was born. Over the past 16 years, we have gone from printing 5,000 copies a month to more than 15,000. In 2018, Marilyn knew she wanted to retire, spend more time with her grandkids as “MaeMae” and maybe publish a book or two. She contacted Katie Eubanks, whose experience at The Northside Sun newspaper/magazine and Clarion Ledger (where she ran Magnolia Magazine for a year) prepared her to step into Marilyn’s shoes. Katie took over as publisher and editor of Mississippi Christian Living at the end of August 2018.
