Co-Founded by Speech Pathologists with extensive experience in paediatric feeding, Learn to Eat. Love to Eat aims to improve the life outcomes of children by providing simple and evidence based education sessions to parents and carers to help them achieve happier mealtimes. Topics covered in our Starting Solids Workshop: - your role in helping your baby learn to eat; - how your baby learns to eat and chew new food; - how to make mealtimes safe, - what to do if your baby isn't interested in food and - how to set up mealtimes so you can avoid fussy eating behaviour in the future. Topics covered our Fussy Eating Workshop: - the possible causes of fussy eating; - the skills required to eat and what can go wrong; - child development and how it can impact on eating behaviour; - The Division of Responsibility at mealtimes and what this looks like when you have a fussy eater; - how children learn to eat new foods with all of their senses, - how to establish mealtime routines to encourage calmer and happier mealtimes, - how to manage common mealtime issues (e.g. food refusal, leaving the table, bargaining) and - how encourage your child to eat a variety of nutritious food. Tailored Private Workshops are also available.
