The Channel Islands Beach Community Services District provides water, sewer, and trash services to the communities of Silverstrand Beach, Hollywood Beach, and Hollywood by-the-Sea in unincorporated Ventura County. In addition, the District also provides potable water service to the Channel Islands Harbor properties. The District serves approximately 10,000 people through 2,200 service connections. As a government entity, the District is governed by a five member Board, who are elected at large from the District's service area. The District was originally formed in 1982.
