We eliminate the typical "spread out" nature of asset file storage (across multiple PCs, servers, and e-mail accounts), creating a central, easily searchable repository for images, documents, and rich media assets (video, audio, etc.) that are accessible wherever Internet access is available, while eliminating the cost of non-coordinated and out-of-date asset versions. Utilizing major hosting providers and a mature yet constantly evolving non-proprietary software platform based on HTML, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL we manage all technical aspects of your PixlBoss installation, freeing members of your organization to focus on their primary responsibilities. We built our first client image asset library in 2007. It provided a web-based repository for images; that's all. It was difficult to maintain, not searchable, and only handled image files. PixlBoss offers the benefits of web-based database applications to gain control and improve the sharing/usage of digital assets, tightening your internal and external brand messaging. We are not just a technology/process company. Much of our experience gained in our parent company Incite Visual Communications involves the creation of branded assets (packaging, sales/marketing/advertising), and the challenges faced by clients in leveraging them. This involvement guides our perspective in advising our clients in the development of digital asset management strategies (keyword and metadata selection, user level permissions, etc.) as the foundation of an effective DAM installation.
