12 King’s Bench Walk, known as 12KBW, is a long-established civil set of chambers which has a well-deserved and consistent reputation for excellence in its core areas of practice, in particular personal injury and industrial disease. 12KBW barristers are at the forefront of developments in the law, having been instructed in many of the leading tort cases of recent times. We are professional and dedicated, whilst remaining approachable and friendly. Our barristers come from a range of backgrounds and we are proud of our record of recruitment based purely on merit. We are a large set, with over 90 barristers, including 14 silks, and our aim is to continue our expansion into the future. In contrast to many other civil sets, 12KBW is able to offer a service to clients, both claimants and defendants, from the smallest portal or small claims track case, to the most complex legal point in the Supreme Court or European Court of Justice. We cover civil and employment cases throughout England and Wales, employment cases in Scotland, and a range of cases in other jurisdictions.
