His formal legal-style of writing was put to use in his 7 years as a Legal Research & Writing instructor for Paralegals, his time as a Legal Analyst co-writing several appellate briefs submitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and his term as a Summer Associate with the Rutherford Institute in Charlottesville, North Carolina.
