It was founded by Small Enterprise Assistance Funds with the main purpose to build and develop SMEs in Eastern and Southeastern Europe as well as the MENA Region. CEED Morocco was launched in March 2013 as the one of the two North Africa locations in the network of CEED centers that already operate in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, Montenegro, Serbia,Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Bangladesh, and has a partnering center in Russia. CEED Morocco creates communities of entrepreneurs while developing the ecosystems in which these entrepreneurs operate. Seeking to establish a space where entrepreneurs are provided with the skills, tools, and support they need to develop, CEED Morocco connects and mentors entrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses. Ultimately, growing and encouraging a community of entrepreneurs who can accelerate innovation, create jobs, and build thriving economies is central to CEED’s approach. CEED believes a combination of tools are paramount to best supporting entrepreneurs. These include business know-hows, mentor-entrepreneur relations, market connections, community engagement, capacity building, and access to capital. CEED Morocco stands as an exceptional resource to entrepreneurs because it provides each of these tools, believing they are invaluable resources to developing entrepreneurs.
