Regional Development Australia (RDA), an initiative of the Australian Government, is a national network of committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the economic development of Australia’s regions. RDAs have an active and facilitative role in their communities and a clear focus on growing strong and confident regional economies that harness their competitive advantages, seize on economic opportunity and attract investment. Our role as a capital city RDA is to work with other regional RDAs in Queensland and capital city stakeholders to identify and facilitate economic development opportunities by creating strong and vibrant Queensland’s regions. RDA Brisbane works with all levels of Government and industry stakeholders, provides support, promotion and advocacy for Queensland Regions.
