We have been assisting with fully serviced affordable accommodation since 1991. A shortage of safe, comfortable modern accommodation lead to the creation of this home in a modern single level building. The service is specifically molded for those of us who are comfortable in a community environment. Generally our community is made up of fairly independent people who may need some support in their daily lives. Our community is embracing with individual requirements catered for. We find that our residents are referred by family members or through a variety of health organizations. Often the individual themselves or family members recognize that they are not quite coping with the stresses of modern society and a safety net such as Christine Court Assisted Living is the solution. Some residents receive the additional support provided by the Resident Support Programme or services through Blue Care and other visiting care organizations. We also provided assistance with budgeting and personal management. Our service provides shared and single rooms with shared en-suites that are serviced daily and thoroughly cleaned weekly and as the need dictates. Our residents are able to manage their own laundry through one of three domestic laundries or have our domestic staff complete it in our modern commercial laundry. Most meals are prepared and cooked onsite from fresh product with specials being catered for on occasion. Residents are encouraged to join in with community activity and maintain their own personal space. We encourage potential residents to visit and review Christine Court – perhaps even try it out for a couple of days. We are confident that the living environment is one of the best of its type in Queensland.
