The Kosice Region Brussels Office is a specialised support service which acts as a bridge between regional government of Kosice Region and the European Union, explaining and guiding its stakeholders through the Brussels scene and promoting Kosice Region interests and best practices at the European level. The main tasks of our Brussels Office are: - to promote the region and its interests towards the EU institutions. - to gather and provide the latest information on the preparation of EU legislation, EU funding programmes, events, co-operation, and networking opportunities. - to develop contacts with other European cities, regions and European networks. - to give full support to regional actors in their EU related activities and to provide the support to the Kosice Region delegation to the European Committee of the Regions and to work to enhance the strategic linkages between their activities and the priorities of Slovak regional government. Cooperation with COTER (Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy) and ENVE (Commission for Environment, Climate change and Energy) of the European Committee of the Regions
