Bříza & Trubač is an independent Czech law firm established in 2013. The team consists of eight lawyers, most of them have studied abroad and are graduates of prestigious universities such as University of Cambridge, New York University, Georgetown University, etc. and have been awarded various awards, prizes, scholarships and honors. In fact, the Czech Republic has had a brand new Civil Code effective since 2014 and we pride ourselves to be on the forefront of both advising clients and doing academic research in various issues that have arisen of this little legal revolution in our country. We have represented our clients not only before various Czech courts and public administrative bodies, but also in ICC, LCIA and ICSID arbitrations, before the EU Court of Justice or the General Court of the EU, and also in regulatory and complaints proceedings before the European Commission.
