www.theinkinc.orgOur Mission The Incubator for Nonprofits of Kansas (The INK) will nurture and facilitate the growth of nonprofit organizations through education and collaboration. ThINK will encourage social entrepreneurship by providing education and support services for launching, incubating, and building capacity of nonprofit organizations in Kansas. The Concept The Incubator for Nonprofits of Kansas will provide a collaborative hub for those seeking to start and/or grow nonprofit organizations and social entrepreneurship ventures. The organization, modeled after successful incubator such as Forge Portland and Original Aurora, will provide access to services, support, training, networking and resources that will help to build successful organizations that contribute to the community. It will be a place to explore best practices and leverage assets between nonprofits and businesses. Clients The Ink will provide services and resources to start-up and existing nonprofit organizations with an annual revenue of less than $250,000. We Are Unique No other organization in the area provides free or low-cost consulting services to small nonprofits. The nonprofits we work with will also collaborate with each other for success Nonprofit leaders will provide mentoring We will engage young professionals and graduate students in the fields of accounting, law, management, marketing, grant writing and nonprofit administration as volunteers to provide consulting Partners The First Presbyterian Church is a primary partner providing office, meeting and event space for The Ink and our clients. Other partners include KU School of Medicine, Wichita State University, Grant Steps Consulting, and On a Shoestring Marketing and Youth Entrepreneurs.
