Atlas Renewable Energy was founded in 2017 and has been led since then by a team of executives with a successful track record in implementing numerous renewable energy projects. Bolstered by the support of the Actis Group, a worldwide leader and investor in renewable energy sources, Atlas became its largest investment in the industry to date. After five successful years, Atlas and all its projects were acquired by Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a leading independent infrastructure fund manager with a robust renewable energy portfolio of 19 GW of operating and construction capacity worldwide. Since its beginnings, Atlas has uncompromisingly adhered to rigorous standards in the development, construction, and operation of large renewable energy projects. This methodology aims to ensure the highest level of excellence in the implementation of its strategy in all the regions where the company operates. Currently, Atlas operates one of the largest fleets of solar projects in the Americas, reaching 2.5 GW of operating projects and has another 1.5 GW of contracted projects under development and construction.
